About Me

“I am a princess. All girls are. Even if they live in tiny old attics. Even if they dress in rags, even if they aren’t pretty, or smart, or young. They’re still princesses.”

Princess Sheryll Dulaca Lavarez, “Cess” is my name.

Born on the 15th day of June year 1994.

Maybe you’re wondering who am I and why I came up with this blog.

Hi! I am Princess, my family and friends often calls me “Cess” (that’s my nickname). I am the eldest, I am out going, loud, adventurous, risky, friendly, sweet, lovable and cheerful yet sometimes a little bit pessimistic. I easily trust people but later on learned to be reserved. I always believe in the magic of love. I am a Singles For Christ proud member. I am God servant. A wide-dreamer, I dream a lot and I dream big. It’s not that I am not contented, it’s just that I want a better future ahead for me and my family. A “goal-getter”, yes that’s me. I am very much competent, maybe because since I was a kid I am really like that but competitive with a heart. I know how to balance things and my actions (“Success is sweet, but sweeter when you never hurt someone or anybody else.”).

I am a Business student major in Financial and Management Accounting. Year 2015 when I graduated at Technological Institute of the Philippines.

At this very moment I am taking up my second program which is BS Accountancy and I was also reviewing for MICB, RCA and CAT Examination. It was really my dream to be a Certified Public Accountant and also a Certified Accounting Technician. And if time and destiny permit I would love to take Law afterwards.

I love traveling a lot. I love to the explore the cities, the beach, mountains, to learn about other places’ different cultures and to have a taste of each delicacies. I want to explore the Philippines, each Island it has. I want to climb every mountains that is possible to reach. I want to travel the world, I will love to do that.

Ever since I really want to go back to Palawan, I want to visit and explore Northern Cebu, Batanes, Surigao and a lot more. I want my feet to step at Paris, Thailand, Greece, Indonesia, Mexico and many to mention. I simply want to go to places.

Bookworm. Yes! I was grade 5 when I started reading novels, the first book I read was “Number the Stars”. That was the day I fell in love with books. After that moment I never expected myself to be this bookworm. As of now, I have lots. Some of my favorites are, “Number the Stars”, “The Little Prince”, “Evermore”, the “Twilight” Saga, “Fallen” and “Holes”. But above all I really do love Rick Riordan’s works. I am big fan of him and his books. From Percy Jackson: The Lighting Thief until his recent book, The Trials of Apollo: The Hidden Oracle. I already had almost 13 books of Rick Riordan. Jeez! I love Percy! He is my ultimate crush! I love demigods and their stories. I am a fan! Indeed!

Music is not really my thing but I enjoyed listening to worship and praise songs. Playing the guitar is what I am capable of a bit (instead of singing of course), I love to dance and perform. It feels like I am free and just doing what my hearts desires.

Proverbs 3:5-6

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight.”

Year 2016, month of June when I became a member of Singles for Christ and it was really life-changing. Someone who’s very negative and stubborn like me before came to know myself even further to change for the better. SFC taught me so much. It helps me dig out my relationship with God. It gives me hope in every way. With the community I learned to be myself and never be afraid to show to others who the real me is. The community imparted me so much and improved me so much. I will always be a proud member of SFC.

This is me. This is simply me. This Is My Story
