Bachoy ala Culasi, Antique

Batchoy is a noodle soup made with pork organs, crushed pork cracklings, chicken stock, beef loin and round noodles. Its origins can be traced to the district of La Paz, Iloilo City in the Philippines, hence it is often referred to as La Paz Batchoy. (c) Wikipedia

But did you know that Antique also has their own version of bachoy and served also in unique way. Sounds exciting, right? (Food lover this is really for you)

Last February 2017, we went to Culasi, Antique and found this Paya-Pang Bachoyan. “Paya” means “Bao” and “Pang” is a term of endearment.

Yes! You can see a “BAO” or “PAYA”. They used “Bao” as a way of serving the their version of bachoy. Unique, right?

Paya-Payang serves Chicken and Beef Bachoy for a very affordable price of, 80PHP. With 2pcs pandesal and a lemon drink for each order of Bachoy.
